Terry Martin Mulholland was born in Long Beach on January 29, 1933, and passed away on April 28, 2022 at his home in Lakewood. He is preceded in death by his daughter Kim, brother James, and sisters Marilyn, Bonnie and Jackie. He is survived by his loving wife of 67 years, Irene, daughter Kellie, grandson David, sisters Shirley and Peggy and many nieces and nephews.
Terry was active as a realtor for 49 years in the Long Beach area. He was an Associate of the Year for the Long Beach Board of Realtors and served as a State Director for 13 years.
Terry was a generous man, giving of his time, talents and treasure. He was a member with Campfire for 35 years, serving on the Board of Directors, and as President, and was a Spark Champion.
With Pathways Volunteer Hospice he first got involved with helping a specific client and seeing to their needs for a couple days a week. Later he became a substitute caregiver, taking over when the regular caregiver had other obligations.
His faith was a mainstay of his life. At St. Cyprian Church, he was a past president of Holy Name, Eucharist Minister, Finance chairman and numerous other ministries. For his culinary talent, “Chef Terry” cooked many St. Patrick’s Day dinners, Holy Name breakfasts, turkey dinners for Community Fest and started the first Mother’s Day Brunch.
In lieu of flowers, donations will be accepted for the Feed the Hungry Ministry at St. Cyprian Church, 4714 Clark Ave., Long Beach, or Campfire USA, 7070 E. Carson Street, Long Beach.
